New Suzuki 30 hp

Picked up a second boat, again. Looking for any feedback on the newly redesigned Suzuki 25 or 30 hp motors with the new EFI system.

Any issues with the new design and technology in the 9.9, 15, 20, 25, or 30 hp motors??

Looking to actually buy the 30 hp 3 cylinder with power tilt, but the new tech seems to be common throughout the line.

I’ve had my DF25A since I bought it new in 2020. I’m pretty sure they are the same as current generation. No problems and it’s been great to me. The difference between 25hp and 30hp is the ECU program and the 25hp uses an intake restrictor. The 30hp uses just a spark arrestor

OK, I was under the impression that the battery-less fuel injection and the lean burn feature were new.

And.... just what does a spark arrestor do on an outboard ????

Not sure. It’s a screen cap thing. 25hp is similar but it’s restricted. I’ve considered swapping mine to 30hp. Zuki only builds short shafts to 25hp so if you want 30hp you gotta make it yourself.
