[Bondo Again]

Ayuh,.....

I went out of town for a couple of days,+ Now everything is Different....
Including a New 'puter....
I posted with my old 'puter just before I installed this 1,+ it was the Same....

When I go to post on a thread, Now it takes 2 clicks of the Backbutton,+ a Refresh to do what a Single click of the Backbutton used to do.....

Why,..??..??

I'll get this New 'puter sorted out Hopefully by Monday evening,....
But,...
My Question is Why is the software working Differently here at iboats,..??..??

I'm guessing he had log-in problems Lester.
This may sound crazy, but when I post if I move the mouse to soon after clicking the Quote or Post buttons I can't enter text. If I wait till it's done loading I have no problem. What the heck?

Personally, I think it's a hoot to see Bondo as a newbie.....maybe with all our help we can teach him a thing or 2 about boats....

is the new puter VISTA, if so it took me a while to get the bugs worked out. also with new puter, you will have sign in again under Bondo, and check remember me. so it will remember the new puter.

Ayuh,.....

The New 'puter is Vista powered...
But,...
With my old 'puter, just last Wedsday morning the sequence for posting Changed...
That is the 'puter I've had for 1, 1/2 years...XP powered....

The changes in posting sequences changed just after the other changes here....

Of Course,.....
The 1 thing that Hasn't changed is how S-L-O-W iboats is......
The Only thing that loads Fast here at iboats now is the "Get Hooked Up" banner.... That loads Instantly,....
The actual Page takes Along Time....

Ayuh,....

Foolish Me,....
I never have to log in,+ whenever I did, I just refered to an email from iboats,+ used the #s, letters from that,...
My password hasn't been what I use since the software crash of,... Well, 1 of the software issues...
Without ever going to my profile,+ changing it to something I Know....
Once I get back on,+ back to Normal,..... I'll Fix it this time....
So,..... I really have No Clue as to what my password is....
And,....
I haven't set up my email properly yet.... Windows Mail, vs. Outlook Express,... I'll figure it Out,.. Just don't want to take the Tme at this moment...
My old 'puter should be fixed by Monday,+ I was thinking I can use the new Windows transfer system to set up All of my accounts from the old 'puter....
But,....
After spending a couple of days out of town working,....
I just couldn't stay away from iboats for 2 More days....

I'll suffer thru this,+ Hopefully,... I can get things back to normal by Monday evening.....

Personally, I think it's a hoot to see Bondo as a newbie.....maybe with all our help we can teach him a thing or 2 about boats....

i have been using Mozilla Fixfire, for the last year, rarely have any problems. speed is terrific. also add memory card to puter, and that helped also.

I have been using Opera for about 2 years now and will not go back to Firefox or any other browser.

One of the neat things I enjoy is that when you open a new tab you can have 9 quick links to the sites you use the most. They are thumbnails of the website you want to go to and you click on it like a photo link.

I downloaded Firefox last night,...
I'll Install it today or tomorrow,+ Try it.....

As for RAM,.... This thing has 1gig loaded into it Now.....
The old 'puter is only 512m.....

Hey Bond-O again, if your using vista, I heard it has a sensitive built-in sniffer , if it gets a scent of Bayhole it will do all kinds of bizarre things.

With this new computer, I have vista premier if think is what it came with, I have both firebox,and Opera on it,seems to me that Opera loads a little faster.
