I’ve been looking for a small boat/skiff so I can get back into Inshore Fishing. I was an avid angler/boater some15-20 years ago and the time is right to wet some lines. I also have a son who is old enough and interested in being my partner (🙏🏼). I’m not getting any younger and my health is failing so I wanna get this vessel sea-worthy ASAP. The previous owner has owned it for several years and used it in freshwater exclusively. Before him I don’t know but the age and condition of the hull and motor lead me to believe it’s been well cared for. It was used on a regular basis as recently as a few months ago. I was able to buy it as the owner could no longer afford to use it and needed the $. I witnessed it the 35HP start and run with ears on it in the yard. It’s an electric start and even has an auto choke. I’m going to post some pictures. Any advice or potential issues identified would be helpful. I’ll try and take some pics inside, under the console, around the splash well, holds, underside of hull etc. Thanks in advance!
Oh, I almost forgot, the motor needs a new prop. Any advice on the best prop for the 1977 Johnson model 35EL77C would be appreciated! I’m not going to repeat this but time is of the essence so the quicker response the better…

It had been a few months since it was running. I’ll empty whatever gas is left in the can and check the fuel lines. Changed the water pump in the yard when I picked it up….

Make sure your transom is strong, these old tri hulls used lots of plywood in their substructure, which can rot and cause a weak hull. Look for flexing in the transom while bouncing the motor up and down. If any leaks, look closely to find where they are comming from as this could be a sign of rotted wood. Boat looks good in your pics, hope things turn out good for you !!

Most retailers including iBoats have parts look ups for props. You can enter the model of the motor and you’ll get a list of props that’ll fit it. Those motors are pretty reliable. Crank her up and go fishing. Good luck!
