New intake...port for pcv and for vaccume

Curious if this is correct. The one with hose goes to my vaccume gauge...other port for pcv

Does your engine have an actual PVC valve in the valve cover? If not, plug / cap the PVC port.

normally the valve cover breathers run up to the carb in a marine installation.

I would plug the unused ports.

Normally, factory setup on a Ford based mercruiser the pcv valve in the rocker cover is routed to the carburetor base (below the throttle plates).

In your case with a new carb, it's unknown if the base has a port for the pcv valve line. Your picture shows a suitable location to connect the pcv valve line, just make sure there are no kinks and you'll be fine

i prefer to use a port from the carb for vac gauge , i don't know why iv just done it that way for years.

PCV i also like to tap into the rear of the carb on Holley rather than the manifold , i have done the same on my quadrajet that's on my 4.3 ,
some say PCV is not needed on marine engine but i prefer to have it rather than just vent hoses to the flame arrester.

My carb doesn't have a spacer plate...also no port on flame arrestor
