Hi i have a 18 ft tri hull and i stupidly pulled it up on a beach. Now my center hull is missing gel coat halfway down. How hard is this to fix and whats the estimated cost?
Ok that sounds good. Im also thinking of re gel coating the whole boat its a 78 so it has its share of bumps. Where could i get this done? A marina or a body shop?
re geling a complete boat is not for a weak wallet. it will cost you about $500 to do it yourself, and about $3000 - $4000 for a shop to do it. it IS labor intensive.
marina or dedicated fiberglass shops would be my first choice. check locally for fiberglass repair.
