hello.. i will be replacing the decks on our 1974 trojan sea raider this spring and would like to know what should the thickness of the underlay ply wood be before the teak or mahogany goes on
and would the veneer type teak or mahogany styled look be a good way to do the decks or a waste of time and money
about 50% of the original decking is shot in areas all along the decks most of the plywood is still OK but i want to remove all
thanks and look forward to hearing all advice i can get..

Re: new decking

If what was there to start with was strong enough, then just use the same thickness.
