She's 24 years old. I'd be checking every nook and cranny on the deck for soft spots. I'd be checking every place below deck for signs of water. If she's foam filled I'd be core sampling the foam to ensure it's not waterlogged. I'd core sample the motor mounts, stringers and transom to ensure they were all solid and not wet. I'd check all external fitting for any discolorations and ensure they were all tight. I'd check the hull to ensure there were no major gouges. If all of those checked out...I'd hit the water and ENJOY!!!!:D
I got some soft spots in the decking However I'm hoping they make a couple lake trips this summer. Then replace deck in the winter time. The seats up in the bow are wasted. Gonna have to build them

You should bounce HARD on the lower leg of the motor while your dad checks to see if the transom Flex's even just a little bit. If it does I'd be very careful taking her out. If there's no evidence of flex in the transom then using her this season will probably be ok.

Love the Merc on her, have the same one on our Pontoon boat. Looks to be in great shape for her age. Nice trailer too.

When we start it up the oil alarm keeps sounding. Gotta check out oil system. Make sure it's working.

My dad just called. Says we may have acquired another boat. Inboard outboard. No other details.
