Never owned and looking to buy

So like many on here I have never owned a boat myself. I have grown up with boats in the family but never owned one. I am currently trying to sell or trade my motorcycle so I am roughly in the 4500 range. I want something to fish with but would not mind carrying 4 or 5 people and maybe pulling. I live in Fort Walton and would be doing inshore salt water fishing. I have found a couple on craigslist and want to know what you guys think. I realize that they are all different but I want to know your input. Thanks!

18-21 ft center console would be your best bet. Get an outboard since you will be using it in saltwater.

If it had to be one of the three, I'd go with the Maxum if it isn't rotted. People will have their opinions about Force outboards but they are runners.

Stay away from the Checkmate. Research the engine issues with that MerCruiser.

The bass boat is the least expensive but almost unusable in the bay. You need taller gunwales.
