Hi.

I am rebuilding the carb for my Evinrude 35hp -1959. I did not notice when i took it to pieces in what position the low- and highspeed needles shall be adjusted in "default position". Anyone know what is the right adjustment for the needles? Shall they be seated in "low" position?

Regards,
Fredrik

Low speed starts at about 1.5 turns from seated. High speed (bottom) should start around 1 full turn from seated. Once you have the motor running, adjust from there. Once adjusted for best running, I like to recenter the knobs on the shafts so that any change is readily visible...
