thanks I found one similarly priced nearby on ebay - so it seems the 3853915 is the same part as the 3850794? thats what threw me off.. oh well i managed with a matching number..

So received the replacement - same part #, different length, whats the deal?? my number is stamped on bottom and replacement stamped on the side..

what a joy!!

most likely the same casting, just different trim lengths?

maybe find a competent welder.
