need to id my 60 Mercury

the clam shell say`s 60 on both sides --has 8 pin electric female connector -- 3 cyl with 3 coil pacs -- only info i can provide is close to mounts is serial A 952656 I am need to get controls for this so I can test motor " please help" Thanks

MANY THANKS if i can find a 8 pin merc control and cables for my boat is there someone that you would recommend for a repair manual just in case this won`t fire up i live in Buffalo Retired from USCG AUX again THANKS Wes
