Need Suggestions on Swim Step Support

I want to add a support to my extended swim step. I have the perfect 7/8 stainless support poles, but I want to mount them to my ski tow eye. Is there a mount designed to securely attach a 7/8 support to a normal ski tow eye?

there are about 15 different ski tow eyes used over the years

I should also note that I can not access the inside of the hull in this area. I also don't want to use a lag bolt to attach the brace. Hoping to use the eye as a mount.

The "transom tiendown" is just under the swim step ( just out of view). That corner of the swim step needs a tad more support.

There isnt. However you could custom make something.

I would find the nuts on the inside myself

Or drill thru and use thru-bolts
