Looks like a 1977 20 HP by the chart I'm looking at.

sorry im new to this 90hp, power trim, i was told is was a four cylinder 2 stroke.

its a 77'. does it say 90 hp on the cowling? cant find anything for a 90 hp. lots of other choices with that serial #.

yes its does say 90 hp on the couling it also says 900

Mercury has never built any 4 cyl 90 HP engines, they did build 850s that are 85 HP and 4 cyl in the 70s. If your engine is a 4 cyl with a large gearcase the it's a 1977, 850 by the serial number.
