Have a 3.7 1986 murc. It over heated after driving a while. I think maybe something got into the lower intake. But it seems like it over heats really quickly. What could be making it over heat. While anchored in one place while in the water. My boat seems to build up water in the bilge. One i start it up. The water still remains. What is making it do that possibly?

1st place to go is the impellor in the outdrive for the over heat issue. pull the drive and see what it looks like. Do you know the history of the boat? Winterized properly? You will need a manual. Lots of things can cause overheats in the engine, but start with the impellor. You may well see other issues such as leaking bellows for one. As for the water in the bilge, grab a flashlight, mirror, whatever it takes to see where it is coming from. From the transom? Probably some transom rot or bad bellows. From the engine? Hopefully not a cracked block, just have to look and see and go from there...

Water leaking into the bilge and over heating sounds lik a leak in your heat exchanger or a cut or tear in the hose connection from the transom seawater pipe to the heat exchanger.
