I am in big trouble. I don't understand how this happens repeatedly to us starcraft owners. I mean, deep down we are good people, with honest beliefs and great intentions, so why do they punish us like this:

Put me out of my misery and make it quick! I do not know if I can look at that beautiful tin tub and that GORGEOUS 225-er in someone else's yard that doesnt even care! How can you sell a beaut like that... oh the travesty, the PAIN!

lol, I seen that ad as well and thought to myself, "nice boat, should go up and take a look", but then I saw the image of my wife giving me a scorn look and probably a few choice words that I could probably over look, but it would repeat all winter long till next spring......be like the movie Ground Hog day for 8 months......

Wow what a deal

The only downside is that the kicker is a Merc

The best part of the deal as I see it(aside from the 225hp) are the planing masts, boards, and the 4 electric downriggers

No guys CND needs our help!!

1. Imagine all the gas money you would save without the 225.
2. With the extra fishing gear, you would have to bother dragging along friends fishing.... they would get tired of it ya know.
3. Not another blue starcraft ... yeesh.
4. The OB's arent a matching pair (wheres your sense of style CND)
5. I dont know about you... but I wouldnt pay a penny over $300-350. absolute MAX>

I agree...everyone knows that an outboard model is worth WAY more

If it comes with 1-2 actual running outboards then that's even better

6. motor is a 2 stroke and will eat vaaaaast amonts of fuel
7. all those buddies won't be so eager to help you with the fuel bill as they are to go fishing
8. do you even have the room to store this thing?.....remember, it's not just long but TALL

10. The six foot-itis may not be enough.

Maybe you should look for a 26'er.

I just went from a 16' closed bow to a 21' open bow, gained 8' of usable space and it still may not be enough

Seriously - if that boat is in as good a shape as the seller seems to think it is, that is a SCREAMING HOT DEAL and someone needs to pounce immediately.

Great Deal to be had with this boat. All set up for the big water fishing. Some one is going to get a pretty good deal. FWIW. Buy It...........Spending others money is so painless for me.

I never understand why people leave kicker motors on boats when they sell them. That's $750 easy right there he could sell and not even have to drop the price of the boat any. That Yamaha is worth probably $2k-ish also. That's quite a nice deal even if it needs some work.
