need help with outdrive

I recently aquired a duo vagabond im guessing around a 73-78 by the motor serial number. the outdrive was taken off and i need help to know what i need to find to put back on. it is a mercruiser 165 straight 6. any help would be appreciated. thanks

in those years the 165hp L6 came with a mc-1 drive. 1.65:1 gear ratio...

i think an alpha1 drive will bolt up...your ratio is more important
