There are numerous references on the web for 14' FB Sears Gamefisher boats rated for 25HP.None of them were rated over 10
Use the USCG formula.
Or look up the exact model from the specs posted

Yes, based on hull# mine was also made by MFG.I had an '81 14ft a number of years ago just like that and the tag read
800lbs motor persons and gear, 25hp max
They were good boats, made by MFG.
Mine as getting fuzzy and giving me fiberglass splinters so I had to sand, primer and paint it back in the late 90's. I sold it about 12 years ago.
