Need help in changing impeller on 98 35 hp

When Changing The Impeller On 98 35hp 3 Cylinder Do I Need To Remove Any Bolts From The Shaft Extending Up Behing The Carbs Or Do I Just Remove The Screens From The Intake And Remove From There. Manual On The Way But Want To Start The Job Now. Thanks For Any Help!

Since no one else has answered.

I think, but I dont know, that you can access the joint in the shift rod by removing the screens. Take em off and look.

Otherwise wait for the manual
