Need help identifying 69 fiberglass boat

Actually if you look at the first pic which has a very clear shot of the dash you can see screw holes and a cut in the lower part of the dash where it looks like the steering wheel was mounted previously. Left most one appears to maybe have been filled in with some thickened paint/epoxy??

So it does appear to have been moved at some point.

There's a mounting pad on that side as well for the controls...again visible in the first pic when enlarged.

Here is a dash picture after some power washing to prep removing the top.... There are holes on the right side where one is plugged with resin so possible this was the original install and gellcoat was redone after it was moved to the left side. Holes for controls on the right side pictured as well.

Can't help on the prop other than it may read PJ40? Cone nut held on with cotter pin....bet its got a shear pin under it. Not so found memories of changing those standing in the water - stumps are a bummer.

Yep. I'd pop the cone off and see what you need shearpin wise. Have a few spares and some ss cotter pins.

Might, might, want to see if you can source a spare cone nut as well....for that "oh carp" moment when it falls to the bottom of the lake. At least, that'd be my luck.

Mercy.... tops off and took a few evenings of being upside down and plenty of awkward positions as I worked around the lip on the inside! I did take measurements to be sure if things relax I can keep it in shape. Plenty of work to do before I can get it back on!



As much as I tried to support things which already have some weak spots... the dismount of the top was rough but it's still in one piece


had to pop off the remaining grip the transom board had which still smelled like fresh lumber where it was sealed yet!
