No I didn't. Snce i didn't have the opportunity to find the fittings I needed for my gauge and I knew for fact that the tank was nasty I just started there.
Now that you mention it I will go to the parts store today and get the fittings to perform the tests. Thanks for the reminder. I got lazy.

So I went to home depot and spent 30 something bucks on fittings and built the contraption with my gauge. Hooking up to the fuel line between pump and carb I got 6.5 psi steAdy pressure at idle and 1000rpm on muffs. Couldn't take it out today to load test it. There were no major bubbles in the line either. Haven't tested for vacuum yet. Nver knew there was a filter on the fuel inlet of the carb. I was just a little dirty, nothing severe.
Also double checked that I had two fine squirts into the carb with a throttle push.

Meant " it" was a little dirty. Damn autocorrect on this iPad is killing me.
