need help finding the serial number on my mercury 115hp.

i found a serial number but its not listed on any parts sites. the number is a180229. ive been told its a1985. are there any other serial numbers that are the same kind of motor as mine so that i can order parts?

Maxrules shows it to be an '85 motor. Crowleymarine.com will have a parts list.
