Need Help Figuring out if a Rectifier or Stator is bad

I have twin Evinrude 150hp's 1994's. One is not charging. The tach at idle reads fine until it reaches 1800rpm's then it drops to zero. Rectifier or Stator?

what year , do you have a reciterfier, a regulater/??

You have a pair 60 degree 150s i would replace the regulator !

this thread is faq section how to test the tach
it has alot of info about water cooled regulators and rectifiers
should be able to figure out what the problem is by using this info.

Do not just throw parts at it, test the system find the problem then replace the faulty part.

Put brand new Tach on last week.

I fixed it, Reatifyer, Runs great, 261.00 $ Later. Thanks for all the Help.
