got a 1966 evinrude ski-twin 33hp well thought i had it working properly but it only running on one cylinder this is what i have done so far cleaned carb ,changed out gas in tank, cleaned and set points, compression is 100 psi on both cylinders hot, checked reeds, etc etc. its got good spark on both cylinders but could the coil or condenser be bad even though its got good spark? seems like when its idling sometime its trying to kick in other cylinder?? any ideas?? matches maybe lol

Do you know which cylinder is not firing? Is the cutout switch still connected? What do the plugs look like?

Have you checked the spark with an air gap tester, spark should jump 3/8" air gap and be bright blue. The front coil controls the top cylinder.

Good idea. Don't forget new s'plug wires. They make a big difference too. No sense it getting new points and condensers and then using the same old wires. You can get for about $3 a foot from NAPA. 7mm coppper core with a couple new boots won't cost $20 and it'll make the points and condensers work ten times better. Good luck.
