Ive been looking on eBay for a transom bracket for my 92 9.9 Nissan and all I can find is somebody trying to rip me for $170. Does anyone know if I can use another manufactures?
What is your actual model (not year)? The transom brackets are sold new individually (left, right, and swivel) along with separate listings for bushings, etc.
Caution: At that age, if your motor has seen service in salt water, the repair may exceed the value of the motor.
It's a NS9.9B2 and yeah I need the swivel part, and there's only one on eBay and I'm not paying $170 for it. The motor runs great actually I bought it for an upgrade on my Jon boat I have a 5 hp Nissan now and got the 9.9 for really cheap it has 125 in each cylinder.
