This connection/Mount came with the recently purchased boat. Any ideas what brand it would go to? I'll probably just swap it out with a different one but not sure why a boat this size would have had navigation... Or are these connections for something else?

Navigation? If you are referring to the black bracket and the 2 plugs, they look like the power and transducer plugs on my Simrad Depth Finer. However, they also look like the plugs on a Humminbird I had a few years ago.

Climb under the dash and trace the wires. Transducers don't have to be transom mounted.
Ya that's my next plan I figured I'd do that this afternoon. I was just thinking about it at work and figured maybe someone knows something I dont on this one. haha. Either way I'll probably pull it off. A large screen in that location will block 2 or 3 gauges at least. Just going to replace with small circular recessed console depth finder.

my guess a puck transducer glued to the bilge or a thru-hull transducer in the bilge

Whatever floats your boat, but personally I find the digital gauges useless. Having a "picture" of the bottom and how it is trending is what I require.

Humminbird makes a real nice and inexpensive color unit. It's relatively small. I have one on my 14' tinny. If visibility is an issue, it can be mounted on a Ram Mount, and then positioned so you can see around it.

Found transducer just laying behind main cabin seat. So ya it was some kind of fish finder/ depth finder. Def. Not mounted properly wonder why they didn't just take it all with them... oh well I have a transducer that I have no clue what model finder it goes to now. Lol

Would this style transducer even work laying in the bilge? It seems to me it should have been mounted outside on the transom.
Glued to a single hull bottom, or contained within a box filled with fluid it would work.

Just remembered that on the transducer cable near the connector at the dash there should be a label with a part number on it.
You could use that number to see what models use the same transducer.
