Ryan Blaney in 27th and Corey LaJoie in 36th will switch to backup cars after wrecking in the Duels last night.

The only televised track action for the rest of the weekend will be the Truck and X-Race on FS1 and the D500 on Fox. MRN is doing radio, but only for Cup practices.

Looks like the President will be visiting Daytona this weekend, NASCAR is saying he will be the grand marshal of the race this weekend.

A truck spinning like a top on it's roof, a truck on fire is hit by FDNY sponsored truck while it's blazing and in the closing laps, the Big One with most leaders involved. 3 wide in closing laps at Daytona almost always means the Big One and the season opening Truck race was no different.

All the Cup Clash crashes, qualifying, Duels and practices are finished. You have until 2:25 EST tomorrow to get your picks locked. Yesterday was a Chevy show during the 3rd practice, today in the final practice it was Ford day. Fords are the top 8 fastest. Only 26 cars practiced, the rest were saving it for the 500. :noidea:

At the end of lap 1, a solo spin, missed the other cars and sorta spun down pit road into his pit. No yellow.
