cleaning the boat up a bit and i see the trim pump is leaking. well after i get a better look, i see it has a massive crack along the bottom. i can get my out drive up, but it bleeds off in about 20 seconds. heres my question, can i just leave the pump as is, not use the trim at all, and still use it this weekend? i do have trim tabs if i really need to trim anything a bit, but i doubt i will. its a volvo 290 out drive in a v8 boat fyi.
