I replaced everything myself, but I did have it professionally sandblasted first.

the only thing I kept was the main steel. everything else went in the trash.

Very nice. I so need to get my trailer blasted so I can either have it painted or paint it myself. Hopefully this fall/winter.

thanks guys!

it was alot more exspensive the farther I got into it.

the sandblasting cost me $160, I completely dismantled everything beforehand, and had each piece individually done. I primered and painted them each myself also before I re-assembled it.

I used the rustoleum "farm equipment" paint, its supposed to be tougher than usual stuff, more resistant to the weather.

Great job! Is that grip tape or bedliner paint on the fenders? Thinking about doing the same to mine.

the grip tape on the fenders was bought at northern tool, a chain store here in minnesota.

we use it at work for the floors, and its really tough stuff.

Very Nice .....and in a color that is not often seen on boat trailers.......surprised you didn`t add some pin stripes too !!!
