So my boss ( company owner) has a boat yard , we’re a roofing contractor, and in this yard of misc. dempseys, hydrodynes, starcrafts and others i picked this guy for 600$ . Hook a battery and tank to it and it fired right off.

The wife wasnt very impressed so i topped it off by parking her jeep outside untill i get it stripped down. Boy i think its going to be a long quiet winter. Now about this boat yard i can throw in a couple pics but he is retiring and everything is for sale . There are some rare pieces and most do not float but parts are good and really cheap like shipping only.

So ill try to post regular updates on rebuild and maybe a question or two . Thank you in andvance for your help

Welcome Beedub! You come with pics (Starmada mob dues paid in full!) along with a story how you evicted your wife from the garage (and lived to tell us about it :ROFLMAO:)

That boat should really boogie with a healthy 70 on there!

Thanks. She gets pretty much everything she wants so not too much in the dog house.

Take your time, My wife wasn't impressed when I brought mine home either but when it was finally finished she was able to see what I had envisioned the entire time. she absolutely fell in love with her. Mine unfortunately was crushed by a tree shorty after the restoration and now my wife is the driving force for me to rebuild. Welcome to the group, looking forward to watching the progress.

Its been awhile since I mentioned the rebuild and since Christmas is close its breaktime after today , so I’ll let you in on how it’s going. 1st off I found out it’s a 1966. I stripped her down inside and out, replaced the plywood floor , side panels , dash and steering and added some extras. I painted the outside myself with createx paints. A candy marine blue and ( moon dust) a color changing effect additive. Dash is oak , plywood sides are mahogany some stainless steel. Blah blah . I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and safe new year . Enjoy the pics of the “Butt Quack”
By the way the wife has had numerous, expensive dinners thanks

Great work.

Any chance you managed to splash the boat?

I would be in Heaven, going through those Bins along the Starboard side of the boat. I can see a 1965 90hp Evinrude, a 58 or 59 50hp, and at least a couple of 40hp Johnson, all resting there
