Hey fellas, I'm very sorry it's been so extremely long since my last update, but hey time flies when you're having fun right? That being said, although I have not made much forward progress if any on the boat and motor my trailer is now road worthy and tomorrow i will absolutely finally be removing the foot off the lower unit. Numlaar you will be happy to know that I finally located the linkage bolt!

Hey guys it's been a while but I need some help with pulling the baring carrier out of the lower unit. I need to check the gears inside. Can anybody tell me a trick on how to get it out?

Hi Mike,

Great to see you back at it...

Someone here might pop in and help you out with the removal of the bearing carrier, but for the fastest possible response, you should post this question in the ENGINE section of the forum...I am sure the gurus there will happily assist with that and any other mechanical issues...
