Well, it was a self admitted troll, JB, and I couldn't resist the bait.<br /><br />I do think the state of politics in this country is pretty sad, from both points of view. Idealogical positions are no basis for forming policy.<br /><br />Which is of course why I liked Clinton so much.<br /><br />With GWB, we have to be told (incessantly) how wonderful things are.<br /><br />At least under Clinton, we had a chance to experience prosperity firsthand.

That prosperity, PW2, was the legacy of Reagan and GHW Bush. The mess we were in by 2000 was the legacy of President Clinton.
