One other thing you have to make sure is the break-in of the your 5 hp Honda sometimes they come ready to use from the factory but is better to check with the dealer where you bought it and the owner manual also and make sure before trying to start it that you have oil in it I am not familiar with 4 stroke outboards but I think it has to have a dipstick.
