I store my new Sun Tracker at an outdoor storage facility with a ratcheting tie down boat cover. No concrete or hard asphalt surface. Just hard pack gravel. No sign of rodents at the facility but, I do have some concerns about how to keep mice or rats out of the boat. Has anyone out there had a problem with rodents and if so, how did you deal with it?

Put a cat inside the boat for the winter..... :)

Many methods have been tried. Stinky drier sheets work for some people. Moth balls work for others. There are lots of variables so see what works best in your situation.

IMO - what works best is putting my boat away late in the season after the mice have already found their winter spots. Mouse houses tend to get built as its getting cold, not once it is already cold.

I use a coupke "TomCat" mouse bait traps, never a problem since I started using them. In the old days we left the gas cap off the portable fuel tank and the fumes kept the mice out....
