Mounting a Flag on a Tahoe Boat

Can anyone recommend a flag pole /mount to install on a 2016 Q7i SSF boat?

where on the boat would you want to mount the flag pole? gunwale, bow, stern, top of tower?

how big of a flag? small, medium, large (over 4')?

two basic types of flag pole mounts, flush mount and surface mount. just like mounting a rod holder.

I wouldn't fly an ensign larger than 12"x18" from a boat that small, and since your anchor light is on a staff that is at least 36" tall, that's where I'd "hoist" it. You can purchase clips to mount the flag to the aluminum pole.
