Ayuh,... If the block is original, the ID tag is riveted to the starboard side, down low, aft on the block...
If not,...
You'll need to give Us somemore hints...

The only thing I found was on the rear port side on the engine block by the bell housing: GM 5.7 J202

the valve casting:1409617
it's a two bolt
It's a GM 350
that's all I know.Thank you.

If ya need Merc parts,..?? tell Us what this 350 is surrounded by...
What drive,..?? got a #,..??
