Mitchell V-hull

Hey everybody, i am about to purchase an 18 foot mitchell boat. Its a 1982 model. I have a 115 hp on a trihull that im pulling the engine off of and selling the boat. I was wondering if the 115 has enough umph to push the 18 foot boat. If not what is the max hp that it will hold? I will be in the potomac and chesapeak area. So im not sure how the weather is up there. And if a storm was to blow in i would want to get out of it as fast as possible.

but whats the max rated horepower rating on the boat?

im not sure, thats another thing that i was trying to find out. Its 18 feet long, around 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 feet wide, and its pretty deep to be an 18 foot boat
