missing out

i have a 89 celebrity 181 with 4.3 merc...developed a miss at the end of last season....this year i put new plugs,wires,cap and still have miss....any suggestions?

have you checked the fuel system at all??

water separator, fuel filters, fuel lines, anti-siphon valve, fuel pump pressure/vaccuum, fuel vent line, etc...

Start with a compression test.
If you have low compression on a cylinder, all the ignition and fuel system checks and repairs will do nothing.
