I have a 2000 model Volvo Penta 3.0L, it runs smoothly up to about 3600RPM then starting missing. If I keep advancing the throttle, it smooths out at about 4000RPM and continues smoothly on up. Then on throttling back it again goes to missing when it gets under 4000RPM, but smooths out again around 3500RPM and continues smoothly on down to idle. What could be causing this?
