I don't get it.
Change props, add this add that.....
Why not just get a proper trolling motor and be done with it?
That's what they are for. They work real good!

Bow mount is the best for preventing the bow from wondering back and forth, if it's a V hull.

You can go with a cheaper and easier install with a transom mount that has a tiller handle.

Well I lost out on the $50 motor by 10 minutes. His neighbor stopped by, seen it and offered him $75. :mad:

For $50 + any need parts would have been a lot cheaper than a nice bow mount trolling motor. Plus if my main motor sh_ts the bed while out on a big lake the kicker motor would get me back. An electric trolling motor might not if the battery or batteries are to low.

Can't really use a transom mount especially if sitting in the fishing seat. There's a builtin shelf of sorts from the transom inbound.
