I noticed that my ground cable came off. I reconnected it and it wont work. Do you think it fried a fuse? I couldn't find the fuse. Or do you think the whole unit is fried?
Thanks in advanced.
Ground cable came off where? Off the battery, off the plug, off the motor itself? Is the battery charged? What type of wiring system do you have between the battery and the motor? There may not be a fuse but there should be a circuit breaker very close to or mounted on the positive post of the battery. It is a rectangular shaped box about 1-1/2 inch long, an inch wide and an inch thick. Probably looks like this:
If you have a test light or a voltmeter, check for voltage at the load side of the breaker. If none, the breaker is tripped/defective. If 12 volts is present, check at the plug. In other words, follow the juice.
