Congrats on getting home safely and with the new boat!!
It's been fun watching the trip!

I look forward to the restore and eventual splash!
I guess now would be a good time for some :sleeping: at home.. :D

When I saw your pics with your flatbed and that boat buried in sand I thought "no way". I was wrong. You're a resourceful dude. C-channel borrowed from a scrap yard? I never would have thought to even ask. Congrats getting it home. Looking forward to the restore.

If you can, raise the bow so water can flow to the stern and out the plug.

First off I would pull the stern drive off and then go to town on the motor removal.

Hard to see in the pic, but the drain hole is the low point at this time. It appears a previous generation of squirrel did not make it through the Michigan winter.....

Yes, the hull is what drew me to it. From the front it reminds me of a Grand Banks fishing dory, and from the back I get flashes of Maine lobster boat. There's an honest utility and functionality in it. Nothing flashy, just an honest good hull. I can work with that!
