MFS25A lower foot seal

Good afternoon boat friends. I recently got some fishing line caught in my prop and my seal busted. After removing a VERY OLD seal, I ordered the lower seal kit from Iboats . I looked at the diagram and it showed only one oil seal but the kit came with two? I am wondering what the other seal is for?

Was the damaged seal number 15 ? the second one is number 14 ?, if so, it's a O'ring and works attached to the propeller shaft housing 10, there should be a groove at the front where the o'ring sits at. Can change both 14 and 15 as to count with 2 new ones....

Thanks for the reply sea rider! The two seals that came with the kit both look like #15, it also came with the O ring #14 you were talking about. The two seals came in separate packages. I have included a picture. One of the seals is slightly larger than the other. I am thinking the kit could be used for more than one HP so tohatsu includes both seals?

Sea rider, it was #15 that was damaged.

Thanks PVAMV! After some more digging, I found that the other seal in the kit is #32 of the drive shaft and water pump diagram!

Pvanv, the seal that I have did not have an M after the part number is that ok?
