Guys I have a 1958-59 Mercury 45hp Mark 58A on my Boston Whaler 13. I didn't get it out on the water last year but I started it up a couple times. Today I fired it up. I decided to change the lower unit oil. It drained out slow and I noticed the oil was milky. I changed it with Mercury 80-90 weight oil. I ran it for a bit and changed it again. It was milky again. Is this normal on these old motors? I also noticed some seepage from these holes on the side of the case. Should I take it to the lake and run it and check it again? Or do I need seals?
