Mercury 90hp 0D142892

I'm in the process of buying a 1990 18' Sports Craft with the above motor. I put that serial number off the tag in Crowley and got nothing. I looked in the Master Tech Model year chart and got 1993 ELPTO which seems okay, other than the original bill of sale for the motor says 1992. When I searched Crowley by Make and Model Year for 1993, I got models 1090411ND or 1090412ND. When I searched by 1992 I got 1090411MD and 1090412MD. Just wondering if anyone can help identify just what I have, and if it's indeed a 93 is there a difference between the 411ND and the 412ND?

MERCURY - ( 90 H.P. (1992 ))
Serial No: 0D142892 Model No: 1090412MD

Search Results - Crowley Marine

As far as the parts list is concerned the 411 and 412 use the same list. As you see the Mercury site says it is a 1992.

The service manual you require for that engine is P/N 90-13645 2. If you do not have it, see my message to you in Notifications at the top of this page.
