I have recently bought a boat that has a Mercury 75 in it. It looks like an old outboard to me. I have it's serial number, yet I can't track it down anywhere. Can anyone help me find out the age of this thing so I can get some help with it? I think it's a 2 stroke by the way, even though the guy that sold me it says it is a 4 stroke.....<br /><br />The serial number is 9417538, and it says made in belgium on it. Don't know if that helps or not..... <br /><br />The engine has Powertrim (or could it be powertilt can't remember exactly which term it says now)<br /><br /><br />many thanks for any help you can give
