Mercury 70

So I picked up a Tacker with a Mercury 70. Outboard is a 2 carburetored 3 cylinder. My problem is when I look up the serial # number I can't find any information. Serial # is 6323616

Blue stripes on the cowling ?----I would guess it is a 1983 model.----What information do you seek.-----Install a new water pump impeller before launching the boat.
