I have a 1985 50 hp 2 stroke that's has a timing problem. The stator was replaced, now the engine only starts when throttle is totally engaged. I would suspect the timing is out of sequence and needs adjustments
I have attempted to reference the method of adjustment but having no luck.
The serial number of the motor is 5485447.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
