mercury 225 hp 96 efi engine cuts out???

every 15 minutes the engine cuts out?? need help!

Only enter 14 minute races.<br /><br />Sorry! Couldnt help it! Anyway, does it die completely or start missing but keep running? Does throttle position have any effect?

It just cuts out completely

The throttle position isn't involved

Check for any type of fuel leak, especially where the fuel line connects to the motor. I had that problem once.
