MerCruiser throttle cable

Not having any luck finding the type throttle cable I need. Goes on a 1980 120 MerCruiser 4 banger. Serial number and carb end of cable are in the pics. Manuals have been no help, same with exploded diagrams…

Anyone got any ideas here????

Throttle cable is based on length. Determine how long yours is then search for same

So the ends are pretty much universal then?

No, but you need to first know how long, then look for that length then look for Merc

and the part number (with length) is usually hot-stamped on the cable sheath every foot or so
