mercruiser outdrive creeping down

i have a mr1 outdrive and noticed if i raise it a little to keep it freom touching ground when parked, the next day it is down. what would cause this? is this normal? ps when in tow i use a support bar thanks ken

Could be the seals in the lift ram or the hydrolic pump.It's not life threating.If you can live with it,it will save you $$$$ You might be able to buy the trim rams and the pump on e-bay.Continue to use the tilt locks.Jerry
